Welcome to Cardiff Students’ Union’s Ultimate Guide to student life. This website contains all the information you’ll need to get you through your first few weeks at Uni and beyond.
Packed with everything you could possibly want to know about University life, the Ultimate Guide is put together by Cardiff Students’ Union and is your gateway to getting involved in things from your first day in Cardiff.
If you’re keen on sports check out the Get Involved section – we’ve got over 50 sports clubs all keen to see new members.
Your parents may be glad to know we’ve got our own advice centre that can help you with anything from money matters to visas and problems with landlords (see the Help and Advice section for more info).
The first two weeks of term are Freshers’ Fortnight, when you’ll be able to find out everything you need to know about Cardiff University and make plenty of new friends.
The Union is likely to be one of the central points of your life at University, whether it’s for shopping, eating, drinking, clubbing (yes, we’ve got a couple of bars and our very own nightclub!), volunteering, training or finding help. Come and see us as soon as you get to Cardiff and we’ll do all we can to help you settle in.
