The Jobshop is a great free service for students making it as easy as possible to find part-time or temporary work to fit in with your studies.
Jobshop provides an introductory service to local employers, temporary jobs at the University, jobs at the Students’ Union, regular part-time jobs or occasional work. Once you’ve registered, you’ll get regular emails letting you know what work is available.
To register with the Jobshop:
- Visit the ground floor of the Students’ Union building Monday – Friday / 10am – 4pm
- Bring your NUS Card and passport
All jobs pay at least the adult National Minimum Wage of £5.93 per hour regardless of age (increasing to £6.08 in October 2011)
