Cardiff Students’ Union is run by students, for students. It aims to put students first in everything it does. A team of student officers are voted in each year to run the Union, supported by dedicated full and part time staff.
What makes the Union really unique is the fact that it belongs to students and all the money that’s spent inside is recycled back into student services. Money spent on the High Street goes off to businesses and their shareholders. In the Students’ Union the money supports our efforts to provide for the various sports clubs, societies and advice services that we offer.
As a newly enrolled Cardiff student, you will become part of the NUS (National Union of Students). There’s plenty of ways to get involved and make changes to your Union, have a look at the Democracy and Elections pages to find out more.
