Your Students’ Union caters for all students from a variety of backgrounds. With over 40 different nationalities represented in your Union it’s a mini-UN. International students add a great deal to the cosmopolitan nature of the Union and University.
International Students’ Information Fair
The Students’ Union hosts the International Students Information Fair (Friday 18th September) and the annual International Student Disco where students can enjoy themselves. There are also a variety of societies where international students can meet people from their home country, or get to know students of an entirely different nationality.
Global Village
Every year, to celebrate the multiculturalism of the Union we, in partnership with international society AIESEC, put on an event called Global Village. Students are invited to represent their nationalities through stalls of food, fashion, dance acts and musical numbers.
Help & Advice
The Union’s Advice and Representation Centre provides an information and advice service for all students at Cardiff University on a wide range of issues including housing, accommodation, money, consumer and other matters.
Cardiff University Student Support Centre can advise on and dispatch student visa renewal /extension forms and provide other specific support as required.
