Starting university can feel like a big step especially with moving away from home and living by yourself for the first time. To help take your mind off this, the entertainment team at your Students’ Union have worked hard to make sure your first two weeks are so fun filled you might actually be glad when the boredom of lectures kicks in!
They’ve got everything from a traffic light party (wear red, amber or green to show your relationship status), to Fun Factory Live and Loud featuring Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. All clubnights and gigs happening during Freshers’ Week are listed on the events calendar in the left hand column and on www.cardiffboxoffice.com.

Highlights of Freshers’ Fortnight:
19/09/09 – the legendary Hey Ewe Party is the best way to kick off Freshers’ Fortnight and get to know some new mates
19/09/09 & 20/09/09 – the whole Students’ Union will be buzzing with activity over these two days. Head over between 12pm – 6pm to get your best introduction to Cardiff. There’s going to be loads of activities going on, track down the Welcome Crew in red t-shirts to find out more!
26/09/09 – the official Freshers Ball will bring the first week to a stylish close. Get dressed up and get yourself to the Union for a big night.
