You can earn certificates of professional development endorsed by the University in Communication, Personal Effectiveness and Leadership. Courses are also offered in First Aid, Basic Sign Language, STEPS To Excellence and Managing Stress to name but a few.
Employers are looking for applicants that stand out from the crowd. Use your time at University to boost your CV.
Alternatively, you might be interested in getting work experience while giving something back to the community. Student Volunteering Cardiff offers projects as diverse as education, mental health, and children and adults with learning disabilities. Becoming a volunteer looks great on your CV and is a really rewarding experience.
